NOTRE DAME RECRUITING LOSS

What looked like a done deal just a few days ago, has now quickly turned into a massive loss (which will be official later today). 5-Star linebacker Kaden Henderson is going to commit to Texas A&M, and insiders are pretty emphatic about it.

POLITICAL NOTRE DAME

Notre Dame badly wants the Protect College Sports Act to pass, and Pete Bevacqua is leading the charge.

Notre Dame director of athletics Pete Bevacqua sent a letter of support to U.S. senators Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell, the co-sponsors of the Protect College Sports Act, ahead of the bill’s second markup period on Thursday.

NFL TALENT

ESPN has 4 Irish players ranked in the top 5 of their position. The one that stands out the most to me is Kingston Viliamu-Asa because he has another year of eligibility and see the first story.

Four Notre Dame stars appear in ESPN's top 5 NFL draft prospects by position.

CJ Carr: No. 4 QB (by both Matt Miller and Jordan Reid)
Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa: No. 3 LB (both)
Leonard Moore: No. 1 CB (both)
Brauntae Johnson: No. 4 S (Miller), No. 1 S (Reid)https://t.co/QeimwKKNJPpic.twitter.com/eT7dlbmkLT

WRESTLING WITH A CENTURY

This is the very definition of the FAFO scale.

MORE CROOTIN

It’s not just the team rankings which gets a boost from numbers — the quality of what’s inside Notre Dame’s 2027 recruiting class is elite.

IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK

This whole thing stinks because it stinks, but this is what ESPN does.

THROWBACK FACILITY

As we approach the opening of the Shields Family Hall, here’s an old facility that is nothing but a memory.

DOES NOTRE DAME HAVE ENOUGH TALENT?

18 is an absolutely sick number.

Spoke to an NFL scout this week…He currently has 18 Notre Dame players with draftable grades and expects that number to rise. pic.twitter.com/bAAaLSc1Fp

THE MIAMI BUILDUP

Notre Dame vs Miami might be the game of the year that more people should be talking about right now.

VISITS ARE BIG BUSINESS

One of the biggest keys to getting commitments from the nation’s top recruits is to have a phenomenal visit. The thing is… it’s so important that bags need to be dropped.

10K for a tailgate appearance and a few autos.

That's what a school paid a recruit for an unofficial visit. It's part of the latest CFB arm's race with schools dropping just to get a visit
