North Dakota and Wisconsin will meet in the first game of a Frozen Four doubleheader on Thursday night.

North Dakota shut out Merrimack and Quinnipiac in its previous NCAA Tournament matchups. The Fighting Hawks have reached the Frozen Four for the 23rd time in program history.

Wisconsin, meanwhile, beat Dartmouth and Michigan State to punch its ticket to the Frozen Four. The Badgers have won six NCAA championships, but they haven't captured the title since 2006.

5:38 p.m. ET: With 4:33 left in the first period, there was a holding penalty on Josephson. Can Wisconsin take advantage of the power play?

5:34 p.m. ET: Immediately after, Ryan Botterill with a transition shot right down the middle. It went though the legs of Spunar. Just like that, it’s 2-0 Wisconsin. Ben Dexheimer and Joe Palodichuk with the assist.

5:33 p.m. ET: A door was accidentally opened close to Hauser’s corner. That could have been bad. With 7:04 left in the first period, Tassy landed a massive goal, ending the shutout streak for North Dakota. Vasily Zelenov with the assist.

5:27 p.m. ET: Hauser with a massive save to spoil what could have been a massive goal by Ollie Josephson.

5:25 p.m. ET: Quinn Finley and Christian Fitzgerald attempted to get past North Dakota’s defense. Montgomery with a close shot attempt, but Spunar with a great save. Montgomery’s been all over the ice early on. Simon Tassy attempted to score following multiple turnovers. Montgomery came flying to the other side, but to no avail.

5:15 p.m. ET: Jan Spunar with an early save for North Dakota. Wisconsin's Blake Montgomery with a clean attempt, but Spunar with the first great save of the game. Hauser with a massive save, and another with 15:16 minutes left in the first period.

5:10 p.m. ET: North Dakota got the puck first. Hauser blocked an early goal attempt by North Dakota. The Fighting Hawks took control early on. Keaton Verhoeff was making things tough for Wisconsin early.
