There seems to be a foregone conclusion that the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots will make a trade to send AJ Brown to New England after June 1.

While the return remains uncertain, whether the Eagles are going to add anything else to sweeten the deal or anything in between, there's at least a very good feeling and reports indicating that it's going to happen sooner rather than later.

Doing so after June 1 is the right decision from the Eagles' perspective for cap reasons, so expect that to happen because of that.

Despite many suggesting the deal is done, others make it seem possible that other teams could get involved.

That also remains uncertain, though the latest report suggests that the Eagles don't have any other suitors for Brown other than the Patriots.

“Is there another team that gets involved here? I have not found one,” Jeremy Fowler of ESPN said, per MassLive.

“It was rumored that the Chiefs once upon a time, I was told no. The Rams we know looked into it. I don’t know if it got to a serious level, but it definitely was an inquiry and that didn’t go anywhere. Would the Rams get back involved? I don’t know that they would. So, if you can get other teams involved, perhaps Philadelphia can get more in return. But, right now, it looks like there’s one team.”

To hear that the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, and possibly others could be involved would definitely be a good thing for the Eagles. The last thing they want is to have only one team bidding for his services, though that seems to be the reality.

That goes to show what Brown has done on the field at times isn't exactly well perceived by other teams around the NFL. Had it not been for his attitude, the Eagles would probably be looking at a lot of other assets in return.

It's rough that things have gone this way for all involved, but it's best to cut ties with him now and start to get ready for the future.
