No Club-To-Club Contact Between Inter Milan & Barcelona Over Italy Defender But Intermediaries Have Been Involved

According to Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia, via FCInter1908, the personal agreement in principle between Bastoni and Barcelona remains in place.
The defender would continue earning his current salary of €7 million per season, provided Barcelona can reach an agreement with Inter.
However, that club-to-club conversation has not yet happened.
“We can confirm the absolute absence, at least for now, of any direct contact between the two clubs,” Longari stated.
“The two clubs have never spoken directly, although a first exploratory contact from Barcelona is considered imminent.”
