An absolutely stunning first round of the 2025 NFL Draft took place on Thursday night, and some interesting moves were made for a lot of teams.
One interesting selection was made by the New York Giants at pick No. 3, selecting Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter.

There was speculation that New York might target a quarterback with their top pick, but the Giants would later trade into the No. 25 pick to take Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
The Giants made the decision on Abdul Carter to pair him with fellow defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux.
After the Penn State EDGE was selected, he joined fellow Penn State alum Micah Parsons in an interview for Bleacher Report.
The two will be matching up twice a year as NFC East rivals, and Parsons was curious if his friend would join him in wearing No. 11 – the number Parsons wears.
"You're going to get that 11, right?" Parsons asked.
"I don't know. I got a different number in mind," Carter responded.
"What number are you thinking, bro?" Parsons followed up.
"I don't know... 56 sounds real good," Carter answered with a grin on his face.
A comment that could be controversial and drew a surprising reaction from Parsons because that specific number is retired in the Giants organization.
Football legend and Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor wore the No. 56 for his entire career with the Giants.

Taylor is one of the greatest, if not the best, defensive players to ever play for the New York Giants and in the NFL.
Earning 10 Pro Bowl bids, eight All-Pro selections, three-time Defensive Play of the Year and the 1986 NFL MVP, Taylor also helped lead the Giants to two Super Bowls in 1987 and 1991.
Abdul Carter will have to go through a list of people to get permission to wear the iconic number for the Giants and if it happens, it will be a large task to live up to.
