The Premier League will be represented by a record NINE clubs in European competition next season following Crystal Palace's UEFA Conference League victory. The Eagles claimed their first-ever European title in Leipzig, defeating Rayo Vallecano courtesy of Jean-Philippe Mateta's second-half strike.
This marks their third major honor in just 12 months and also earns Palace a spot in the Europa League for the upcoming season. In total, they are the ninth English club to secure European football this season, setting a new Premier League record.
The division also featured nine European representatives last season, though there are some notable changes heading into next term. Let's begin with the Champions League.

Premier League champions Arsenal will naturally feature in the competition, alongside Manchester United and Manchester City. Aston Villa will also return to the Champions League, with Unai Emery's side qualifying through two separate routes, having finished fourth and claiming the Europa League title, as per The Mirror.
An extra Champions League berth was secured for the Premier League through their UEFA coefficient, with Arne Slot's Liverpool clinching that position after finishing fifth.
There was a scenario where the Premier League could have landed six Champions League spots, but only if Villa had finished fifth. As things stand, they have just five.
Typically, the remaining European berths would be awarded to the clubs that win their domestic cup competitions. However, with Man City claiming both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup during Pep Guardiola's final season at the helm, those spots have been redistributed to the clubs occupying the corresponding league positions instead.

AFC Bournemouth have secured European football for the first time, with their sixth-place finish earning them a spot in the Europa League. The Cherries will be accompanied by Sunderland, who have remarkably earned a place in continental competition during their first season back in the Premier League. The third Premier League side to qualify is Palace, following their Conference League win.
The Premier League will also have one representative in the Conference League next season. Despite having the opportunity to compete in the Europa League, Brighton and Hove Albion locked up their place in UEFA's third-tier competition on the final day of the season.
The Seagulls last featured in European competition during the 2023/24 season, having advanced to the Round of 16 of the Europa League under now-Tottenham Hotspur boss Roberto De Zerbi.
