Just a couple of weeks before the start of the famous prospect workout in Lucas Oil Stadium, nine Tigers have been selected to participate. Quarterback Cade Klubnik, Running Back Adam Randall, Wide Receiver Antonio Williams, Offensive Tackle Blake Miller, Defensive Tackle DeMonte Capehart, EDGE rusher TJ Parker, Defensive Tackle Peter Woods, MIKE Linebacker Wade Woodaz, and Cornerback Aveion Terrell were all chosen to attend the event.
Klubnik was an All-Practice member of the Shrine Bowl, and TJ Parker was widely considered to be one of the biggest winners at the Senior Bowl. Capehart also participated in the Shrine Bowl, while Randall participated in Senior Bowl practices.
Three Tigers (Woods, Terrell, and Parker) are in the top 32 on PFF’s big board. Blake Miller and Antonio Williams crack the top 100, with Klubnik and Capehart placing in the top 200. Adam Randall and Wade Woodaz are currently projected as undrafted free agents and would need to truly stand out at the combine to be selected in this year's NFL draft.
Players will begin to arrive on February 22nd, with workouts stretching from February 26th to March 2nd. Workouts will be broadcast live on NFL Network every afternoon.
