The first-round playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers looked by far the most exciting one of the lot through the first two games. The Nuggets had won Game 1 112-110 in overtime, and the Clippers responded with a 105-102 win in Game 2.

There were high hopes that Game 3 would turn out to be a classic as well, but it didn't. The Clippers blew out the Nuggets 117-83 at the Intuit Dome, despite Nikola Jokic recording another triple-double. Jokic had 23 points, 13 rebounds, 13 assists and a steal on the night, but it wasn't even close to being enough.

Jokic has now recorded triple-doubles in back-to-back games, only for the Nuggets to lose on each occasion. The seven-time All-Star appears to be getting increasingly frustrated by the team's struggles, as evidenced by his actions on the bench in this latest loss.

Jokic was seen raging on the bench during a timeout in the fourth quarter. Most of the 30-year-old frustrations appeared to be directed at Nuggets assistant coach Ryan Saunders.

Jokic was known for keeping his cool at one point, but such outbursts are starting to become somewhat common now. He tossed a bottle in frustration and seemingly had a lot to complain about to his teammates during a 118-104 loss to the Golden State Warriors on April 4.

This Nuggets season certainly hasn't gone as planned, and they are now in real danger of being knocked out in the first round. Game 4 at the Intuit Dome on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET is almost a must-win now for the Nuggets.
