Slovenia's Nika Prevc continued her dominance in the women's ski jumping World Cup with another comprehensive victory in China on Friday.

Prev was far ahead of all rivals in Zhangjiakou on the large hill used for the Beijing 2022 Olympics, soaring 136.5 and 130 metres.

Early season leader Nozomo Maruyama of Japan was a distant second 23.7 points back with 127.5m and 124.5m. German Selina Freitag was third with 128.5m and 125m, 30.4 points beind the winner.

Twice world champion Prevc, the sister of men's Four Hills Tour winner Domen Prevc, extended her World Cup lead with a fifth victory in a row, a 10th of the season and 32nd overall.

Young German Emily Torazza crashed after landing her first jump but was able to walk away from the incident on her own.

The women have another event in Zhangjiakou on Saturday when the men have the first of two competitions in Sapporo, Japan.
