The Denver Broncos spent the first day of free agency taking care of their own. On Monday, Denver brought back linebacker Alex Singleton and running back J.K. Dobbins, moves that were largely unpopular among fans.

Singleton's signing, especially, received negative feedback, despite leading the Broncos in tackles in 2023 and 2025, and overcoming the things he has just to play with Denver. In 2024, Singleton played an entire game on a torn ACL; in 2025, Singleton was diagnosed with testicular cancer, had it removed and only missed one game.

Fans had some nasty things to say, but Singleton's teammates immediately took a stand.

One of the other transactions made on Monday saw defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers agree to terms with the Tennessee Titans. Teammate Zach Allen posted his farewell wishes to Franklin-Myers, a sentiment they shared together.
