Game 7 of the first-round playoff series between the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues was one for the ages. St. Louis looked like they had the game all wrapped up until fate took over.
The Jets scored a game-tying goal with 1.6 seconds left in regulation to stun the Blues. Cole Perfetti became a hero in the city of Winnipeg, sending the game to overtime.
After two overtime periods, a winner finally emerged. The Jets scored an overtime-winning goal during the second overtime, sending them to the next round.
It was a wild game all around, and showed the complete roller coaster that is the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Just ahead of the second round series for the Jets, the NHL dropped an incredible video of fans reacting to the emotional game.
Within the video, you can see the pure happiness and emotion from the fanbase. Winnipeg has been used to a lot of shortcomings over the years, but this team wouldn't be denied.
The Jets kept fighting in Game 7, despite all the odds being stacked against them. Due to the perseverance, the Jets will now be facing off against the Dallas Stars in the second round.

Winnipeg was the best team in the NHL this season, winning the Presidents' Trophy. While many previous Presidents' Trophy winners have fallen short in the postseason, the Jets kept their chances alive.
Going up against the Stars won't be an easy task, but the Jets have massive belief following this impressive series win. Game 1 between the two teams is set to kick off tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET.
