NFL RB rankings: 2 RBs in NFC West make list

NFL training camps will open next week and the week after, and before that happens, we have offseason lists and rankings. Executives, coaches and scouts voted on the top 10 players at different positions, and the running back group has no Arizona Cardinals on it, which was expected.

But there are running backs from the NFC West.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey: No. 4​

He was listed as high as first on ballots and was unranked on at least one. He was fifth last year.

After playing only four games in 2024, he played in every game last season, rushing for 1,202 yards and 10 touchdowns. He caught 102 passes for 924 yards and seven touchdowns. He was a Pro Bowler, a first-team All-Pro, he won Comeback Player of the Year, was fourth in MVP voting and second in Offensive Player of the Year.

Rams RB Kyren Williams: Honorable mention​

Williams rushed for 1,258 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2025.

Former Seahawks RB Ken Walker: No. 9​

Walker was the Super Bowl MVP for the world champion Seahawks before signing with the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent.
