The Denver Broncos appeared twice on the NFL's transaction wire Monday.
In addition to signing long snapper Zach Triner, the Broncos were also listed on the transaction wire for a roster exemption ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.
Denver tight end Thomas Yassmin will not count against the team's 90-man offseason roster after being designated as the team's International Player Pathway Program participant in 2025. Yassmin also held that designation in 2024.
The Australian-born Yassmin grew up playing rugby before converting to American football in college with the Utah Utes. He joined the Broncos as an undrafted free agent last spring and spent his rookie season on the practice squad (with an exemption).
As an international player, Yassmin did not count against Denver's 16-player practice squad limit in 2024. If he makes the squad again this year, the Broncos will once again be allowed to carry 17 players on the practice squad with Yassmin as an exemption.
