NFL Free Agency 2026: Chicago Bears News and Rumor Tracker for March 10

The early negotiating period for 2026 free agency officially starts at 11:00 a.m. (CT) today. But everyone knows there’s already been some down-low groundwork laid out between agents and teams. How else do you explain the frenzy of reports that are sure to hit social media shortly after 11?

The Chicago Bears were hit with the retirement of center Drew Dalman last week, so they traded a 2027 fifth-rounder to the Patriots for Garrett Bradbury. On Monday, they signed free agent linebacker Devin Bush, safety Coby Bryant, and defensive tackle Neville Gallimore.

We’ll update this news and rumor tracker as the reports relating to the Bears start trickling in on day two of the early negotiation period of free agency.

• The New York Jets are signing former Bears corner Nahshon Wright.

• Per Ian Rapoport, the Bears are signing former Detroit Lions wideout/returner Kalif Raymond.

• On a Tuesday spot on the Score, Brad Biggs says he believes the Bears will not re-sign Kevin Byard III, but that Elijah Hicks could be back for depth. (link)

• The Bears are bringing Braxton Jones back on a one-year deal.

• The Lions have officially released starting left tackle Taylor Decker.

• Case Keenum is back in Chicago on a 2-year deal.

• The Bears were rumored to have interest, but the Tennessee Titans are signing former New Orleans Saints corner Alontae Taylor.

• The New York Giants are signing former Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.

• Per Adam Schefter, former Bears defensive end Dominique Robinson is signing with the Houston Texans on a one-year deal worth up to $4 million.

• The Bears are signing former Browns linebacker Devin Bush.

• The Raiders have signed center Tyler Linderbaum.

• Bears signed Seattle safety Coby Bryant.

• The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing linebacker Alex Anzalone.

• Saints linebacker Demario Davis is signing with the Jets.

• The Chicago Bears are linked to Seahawks safety Coby Bryant (link).

• The Bears are signing defensive tackle Neville Gallimore from the Colts.

• EDGE Jaelan Phillips is off the market as he’s signing with the Panthers.

• Bears are interested in Steelers cornerback James Pierre. (link) UPDATE: He’s singing with the Vikings.

• The Falcons are signing former Bear, wideout Olamide Zaccheaus.

• Some buzzed about names to watch today regarding the Bears are Logan Hall (DL), Alontae Taylor (CB), Alex Anzalone(LB), and Taylor Decker (LT).

• It was reported on Monday morning that the Chicago Bears re-signed linebacker D’Marco Jackson.
