It is never too early to begin watching prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft. General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has made the draft a must-see event for Vikings fans for all the wrong reasons as he continues to take chances and miss.

We are going to be covering every position in the draft, but not all of them will be the Vikings' needs necessarily. But of course, anything is possible for a team, and if not, they will be drafted by a division rival that the Vikings see twice a year.

For this report, we will be discussing a cornerback. The Vikings have Byron Murphy Jr. and Isaiah Rodgers on the roster, but the secondary has been unreliable in 2025. They need some youth infusion, and the 2026 NFL Draft is primed for them to be able to find that.

With that in mind, here is our report on California's Hezekiah Masses.

Player Summary

Hezekiah Masses is a fun cornerback prospect due to his size and playstyle with receivers. He does well in both man and zone coverage assignments, and that versatility is going to make him appealing to NFL teams during the draft process. I am not sure that Masses will test well, but his speed and movement skills should be enough on film to have teams want to buy in on the traits he flashes on film. The Senior Bowl will be massive for his evaluation and could boost him to the top of day three or the end of day two.
