Buckeye fans know and respect J.T. Tuimoloau as the walking highlight reel of the defense from the last few seasons. A whopping 35 solo tackles and over 12 sacks in his senior season helped lead Ohio State to a National Championship. But as we all know, college highlights don't always translate to pro success or high draft picks. So, what should football fans expect of "J.T.T." at the NFL Draft?

Draft Projection: Late Round 1-Round 2​

Pro Day Results (As Reported by The Columbus Dispatch)​

Bench press: 24 reps

Vertical jump: 35.5”

20-yard shuttle: 4.38 seconds

Broad jump: 9’11”

Tuimoloau was a consensus second-round pick in most experts and mock drafts throughout this entire draft season. The general reporting was that he doesn't quite have the explosiveness required from a first-round pick. Has that stuck? It's unclear. Some recent mock drafts, including one on nfl.com, have Tuimoloau sneaking into the back end of the first round--most with Washington at pick No. 29, but some have him going to the Lions or Eagles. Don't be stunned by a first round showing, but second round still seems likeliest.
