Baltimore Ravens offensive guard Ben Cleveland was suspended for three games without pay by the NFL on Monday for violating the league's substances of abuse policy.

The 27-year-old Ravens lineman was arrested in the state of Georgia in February driving under the influence of alcohol and reportedly agreed to one year on probation in a plea bargain deal last month.

Cleveland, who has not played since a victory over the Cleveland Browns last month, will miss Ravens games on Sunday at Cincinnati, December 21 at home against New England and December 28 against Green Bay.

He could return on January 4 for Baltimore's regular-season finale at Pittsburgh.

The Ravens (6-7) lost to Pittsburgh on Sunday to fall one game behind the Steelers (7-6) in the AFC North division.

Selected by the Ravens in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Cleveland has played in 64 games but has not been a starter since 2023.
