Man that better have happened like a week ago & just now got reported
under the radar = media does not give a flying crap about the Cardinals. All of this stuff would be public knowledge if reporters actually dug into what the Cardinals were doingxc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
I assume this was just the Cards killing time earlier in the process waiting for the playoffs to progress.
Ultra compliant with Rooney rule?!?xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

Agreed. Even Weinfuss doesn’t do crap other than retweet others.under the radar = media does not give a flying crap about the Cardinals. All of this stuff would be public knowledge if reporters actually dug into what the Cardinals were doing
If only he had done ANYTHING since then to provide ANY evidence that he'a changed.Kyler stated that like 5 years ago in a New York Times interview. 5 years ago!! Are we going to hang onto that quote forever? Right up there with he plays video games instead of watching film. KDS at its finest!
Further evidence Monti had no plan. Just interviewing random people.wait, what????

Maybe as a consultant role...or DC role?Ultra compliant with Rooney rule?!?
Eh… if LaFleur was a top choice I would rather them interview a myriad of candidates as opposed to just sitting around doing nothing waiting for the Rams to lose.Further evidence Monti had no plan. Just interviewing random people.

He could've dispelled the doubts via his on-field play... by displaying quick reads to exploit defenses right after the snap, by going deeper through his progressions more often, or by making more anticipatory throws to throw receivers open.
Since he KNOWS that this is his reputation, he could've slipped in ONE SCENE of film study in any of his off-season videos between the workouts, the massages, the private chef, and playing games with the receivers. He could've mentioned something he saw on film at any of his post game pressers. He could've mentioned in any of his interviews that he's learned the value of putting in the extra hours in the film room, and no longer feels the way he did when he gave the Times interview.
Or we could've heard from any of the receivers or backs about getting late night texts referencing something to look at on film so they could get on the same page and exploit it... like we heard multiple times after Brissett took over. Or we could've heard from his biggest fan, Jonathan Gannon, not just that he's a "hard worker" but that he's a film junkie.
But not one hint of ANY of those things has ever happened. And his play on the field makes it obvious that defenses have figured out how to negate his best attributes, while he's done nothing to learn and grow and figure out how to counter what defenses are doing.
Now after 7 years, two coaching staffs have built offenses to try to get the most out of him, and neither has succeeded. But I'm sure in year 8 with yet another staff, all that film work will finally pay off.![]()
Football Ops Pres.....hopefullyMaybe as a consultant role...or DC role?
This smells like something a source would feed her when she checked whether Lafleur was a done deal. Here's your scoop Lady Di.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

It's so bad
As the day goes on, I'm a little more concerned. Campanile would have been an okay choice for me if we decided LaFleur wasn't it, but if Camp decided he was out anyways, and LaFleur says no, it'll be an unmitigated disaster.
A few hours ago my assumption was that the LaFleur thing was basically a done deal, and now I'm getting tense.
The wording is real specific thoughIt's so bad
No wonder they were secretive about the people they brought in.The wording is real specific though
“This flew under the radar”
Including the GM and team owner. No one knows anything
