getting 8 of the next 12 against Colorado, Mia & Atl would put us at 20-16 with a win pct of .556 and on pace for 90 wins.

After a poor start to the season, it's time to make a turn, hit the gas and don't look back.

Here's our chance, floor it!

And sometimes you have to grow into it. Especially after losing our All Star CF.

And with adjustments by our two new starting Pitchers at the top of the rotation now pitching in the second most hitter friendly park in the league.

To become the best, you have to progress.

The best teams in Baseball win 6 of 10 games. That means of you can win 65% of your games against weaker opponents and 55% against tougher opponents, you'll win nearly 100 games and be playing in October.

When someone puts that feast of .375 win pct teams in front of you...EAT!

If this team can string together a good 12 game stretch and pick up some confidence I think they can grow into a team that can be a 90+ win team.

A day off or two might help as well.

Yes, we need to exact some revenge on the Rockies and get a couple games over .500 I really did not like them raining on our opening day parade, but maybe this team needed a wake up call early that nothing was going to be given to them. Time for us to establish our dominance over a lesser divisional foe.

I really hope Ray can come out and pound the zone. That is when he is at his best. Regardless, the Rockies will hit, so the offense needs to show up too.

I really, really want to see Goldie get back to hitting doubles and singles. He is feast or famine at this point. Him popping up with nobody out last night in the 8th really bummed me out. Very un Goldy ish. He ALWAYS brings in atleast 1 run in those situations even if it's just a sac fly.

It's so hard to see this team win 8 of 12 against any grouping of teams when our starting pitching is so erratic and Goldy continues to look completely lost at the plate...
On the plus side, Ruby has now put back to back high-quality starts together... Segura and Drury continue to smash the ball around the park...and we seem to be getting pretty decent production from the catcher position. While our pen - for the most part, pitches well enough to do their jobs...
If Greinke, Miller and Corbin can actually find their rhythm, and/or of Goldy can remember who he is, my God this team would be on fire!!

I see that Drury remains in the starting lineup but at 2B in Game 1 vs. Colorado with Segura shifting to SS. With all due respect to Ahmad's superior fielding, Segura is no slouch at SS.

I hope that bouncing Drury from 3B to 2B to LF to RF (whether to rest Peralta or when he moves to CF) doesn't affect his efficiency at the plate. Or Peralta's. Or Segura's.
