Just like this year, this is going to make the Thunder more vulnerable come playoff time. This is how the league works now even when you make it to the top. The penalty for winning a title is that you won't be able to hold onto your roster any longer.

Having the ability to do it and executing it are two different things. For example, in the NFL the Steelers made a living for decades letting high priced, high profile guys go and drafting replacements. If your team is good at it, you will continue your success. If not?
