Crazy stat of the day: Jokic has only missed 36 games in the past 5 SEASONS. That's amazing durability, especially in today's injury-riddled NBA.

He is the best player in the league and he plays it in a style befitting of the 80s.

He paces himself well, he chips in all over while not asking more of his body that it is capable of... like, you'll never see him doing a fast break rim rocking dunk.

Dude just wants to win basketball games and... do horse racing...

He's the best player of the last 10 years. I also think he might retire young.

Jimmy Butler catching some flak, it was really obvious live you could hear it so not surprised the media picked it up. Butler and Nets rookie Danny Wolf were talking back and forth for a bit in the game. And then Butler drew a foul on him on an and 1 and started yelling "white boy" at him, said it 2-3 times. He was smiling and laughing but I think what he was saying is you (the Nets) can't guard me with that guy. If he had said rookie nobody would care but saying white boy is catching some flack.

Larry Bird said that several times in his career, when he was guarded by a white guy he thought it was an insult but when Butler says it black guy to white guy it's taken differently.

Hmm. The Nuggets could really use a player like Nick Richards.

Would need to add a 3rd team. I don't see anything Denver has we'd want in the $4-6m range. They have Holmes and Nnaji already so they may tough it out.

Christian Braun or Payton Watson works financially but both are far more valuable than Richards.

I just threw it out there because of the Nuggets need.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!

I don't think they're tanking yet.

In all seriousness. I cannot comprehend the idea that Richard's has an ounce of value. He is a sea anchor when he is on the floor for us. Any team that gives up anything of value for him is foolish.

He's a detriment. We're better every minute we can keep him off the court.

I think you meant deterrent. See his recent blocked shot. That is all other teams need to see.

We need to hope that Richards has some value to a team that needs a center. The Suns will need another player that can minimally play some spot minutes at the 4/5 before the season is over. Perhaps there are other teams that have players they might want to swap who don't fit.

Also, there is the contract angle. Richards's $5 million expiring contract might help a team with CBA problems or help make a trade work.

Obviously James Jones valued him even over Nurkic. Yeah, I know.

Sad the Suns are used as an example of what not to do.

It is what it is. We went all-in and it failed spectacularly.

Today, we are trending in the right direction. In fact, I'd argue we're probably 2 or 3 years ahead of schedule given what our situation is/was.

Yep, and at least Ishbia has seemed to learn from his mistakes quickly.

both centers in denver - now memphis - we could end up getting a crappy first rounder for richards if we hold out
