The New York Knicks, in their pursuit of a title, have been cutthroat. This offseason, after building the "Nova Knicks" with Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, Donte DiVincenzo, and Jalen Brunson, the Knicks tore apart their Wildcat core by trading DiVincenzo and former face of the franchise Julius Randle to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Karl-Anthony Towns.
Towns is one of the best offensive big men in the NBA, but his interior defense leaves a lot to be desired. If the Knicks continue to be ruthless, they could flip Towns and plenty of other assets for Giannis Antetokounmpo, the hottest name on the trade market.

The Greek Freak would be one of the most sought-after trade candidates of all time, and the Knicks don't really have the draft capital to allow the Bucks to rebuild. Then again, Milwaukee doesn't own many of its own draft picks, so tanking is not a viable strategy.
What the Bucks could use is a path to stay in the postseason while also building towards the future, and the Knicks can offer just that.
Mock Trade Details
Knicks receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo
Bucks receive: Karl-Anthony Towns, Tyler Kolek, Miles McBride, Ariel Hukporti, 2026 first-round pick (via WSH, protected 1-10), 2030 first-round pick swap, 2025 second-round pick (via MEM), 2027 second-round pick, 2028 second-round pick (via IND or PHX)
Towns, in the Eastern Conference, should be able to keep the Bucks in the postseason picture, and they could flip him down the road if or when they are ready to rebuild.
Meanwhile, the Knicks would become title favorites by keeping Bridges, Brunson, and OG Anunoby while adding the Greek Freak. The Bucks would certainly be able to find more draft capital by dealing with another team, although the Knicks offer more on-court talent than anyone else would be willing to.
