New York Jets News: Darren Mougey ‘more in sync’ with Aaron Glenn in Year 2

Good morning Gang Green Nation! The New York Jets opened training camp with their first practice of the 2026 season yesterday. D’Angelo Ponds, T’Vondre Sweat and Joseph Ossai all missed the practice with various injuries characterized as minor by Jets staff. These three are all expected to play significant roles for the Jets defense this season. If these ailments were to linger into the regular season they might be cause for concern. For now, the Jets appear to just be erring on the side of caution early in camp. With any luck all three will be back shortly and we can begin to see what the Jets completely revamped defense looks like this year.
