New York Giants rookie Arvell Reese continues to impress during OTAs

The New York Giants selected former Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese with the fifth overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Giants radio host John Schmeelk recently shared his observations on Reese’s performance during OTAs, saying he has been extremely impressed with the rookie’s efforts thus far.

In what has become a daily occurrence, rookie linebacker Arvell Reese was in the perfect spot at the perfect time to line up a potential big hit after a completion to begin a two-minute drill. The defensive staff certainly can't wait to see plays like that all the way through once they get into a game setting.

Reese is expected to begin the 2026 season as New York’s WILLlinebacker. The rookie enters his first NFL year with significant expectations and could quickly develop into the next star on the Giants’ elite, young defense.

Reese is likely to continue shining throughout the remainder of the offseason and has the potential to dominate in his first season with the team in New York.
