The New York Giants met with Oklahoma defensive tackle Gracen Halton at the Sooners' Pro Day, as the 2026 NFL draft prospect continues to generate interest from multiple teams.

Halton, a 6-foot-3, 293-pound disruptor from San Diego, California, showcased impressive athleticism earlier at the NFL Scouting Combine, recording the third-fastest 40-yard dash among defensive linemen at 4.82 seconds, a 1.70-second 10-yard split, and a standout 36.5-inch vertical jump that topped his position group.

His explosiveness has slightly elevated his draft stock, with projections placing him as a potential Day 2 or Day 3 selection.

At Oklahoma's Pro Day, Halton completed 25 reps on the bench press before tweaking his hamstring, which limited his further participation. Despite the setback, he drew significant attention through meetings with several NFL clubs, reports NFL insider Tony Pauline.

Halton met with both New York teams, the Jets and Giants, who are showing him a lot of love. He also had one-on-ones with the Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, and Minnesota Vikings.

Halton spent his college career with the Sooners from 2022 to 2025, earning second-team All-SEC honors in his final season. His senior year included notable production, contributing to a career total of 84 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

The Giants, seeking interior defensive reinforcements, appear to view the athletic tackle as a promising rotational option ahead of the draft.
