New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was notably effective as a dual-threat player in 2025.

NFL reporter Tony Holzman-Escareno notes that Dart finished second in the league with five games featuring both a passing and a rushing touchdown last season.

Dart trailed only Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who recorded seven such games in 2025. He finished ahead of Daniel Jones of the Indianapolis Colts, Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, all of whom had four such games.

Two of the Giants’ four wins last season came in games where Dart scored touchdowns both through the air and on the ground. The Ole Miss product threw for 15 passing touchdowns on the season.

Dart ranked eighth in the league and second among all quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns (9) last season. He achieved that total in only 14 games played in 2025, 12 of which he started for New York.
