Mosley, who was born and raised in Milwaukee, reached an agreement to lead the New Orleans Pelicans, according to a report from ESPN on May 18.

The 47-year-old Mosley was fired by the Orlando Magic on May 4. He spent five seasons rebuilding the Magic, but the franchise couldn't get beyond the first round of the NBA playoffs. Mosley was let go after the eighth-seeded Magic blew a 3-1 series lead and lost Game 7 to the Detroit Pistons.

Mosley was 189-221 with the Magic. According to ESPN, he received a five-year contract from New Orleans.

Also, per ESPN, the Pelicans talked with former Milwaukee Bucks assistants Darvin Ham and Rajon Rondo.

New Orleans already has some Milwaukee flavor on its roster with former City Conference stars Kevon Looney and Jordan Poole.
