If there is anyone who doesn't like wearing shoes, it's New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins. Since his arrival prior to last season, many knew he was going to be quite a character. Indeed, that was true. Hollins was on a new team, but he had the same vibe in the locker room.

Back to the point on not wearing any shoes. In the past, Hollins had been seen going barefoot upon his arrival at the stadium for games. As a Buffalo Bill, he was seen showing up in a snow game in western New York. As a Patriot, fans got to see him show up at the AFC Championship game in Denver this past season, chanting the "Warriors" chant.

Now you can catch him in the gym training for the season ahead without the aid of some workout sneakers.

The Patriots posted this video below of Mack's feet in harm's way as he performs some offseason strength training.

Ever the character, Hollins does deliver on the field whenever he is called upon. Despite injuries, Hollins still recorded 46 catches for 550 yards and two touchdowns last season. His best game was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last November, when he caught 10 passes for 106 yards.

Hollins was always there for Drake Maye in 2025. He had a pivotal catch to keep a drive alive in the snowy AFC title game, and despite losing the Super Bowl, he caught himself a beautiful touchdown pass from Maye on the team's only trip to the end zone.

Hollins is in a contract year, so staying healthy will be key. Seeing the offseason workout regimen, no matter how eccentric it may be, is a good sight.

Of all the trade rumors that have circled the Patriots' wide receiver room since the arrival of A.J. Brown, Hollins has seemed to have kept his distance. As a matter of fact, Patriots legend Troy Brown expressed hope that Hollins will have a huge impact on the field in 2026.

He seems to be having quite the impact in the gym, getting ready for this season, barefoot and all.
