It is officially one month to the day until the 2025 NFL draft begins, and we have a new mock draft for Arizona Cardinals fans to consider. Buc Wire managing editor Andrew Harbaugh mocked the first three rounds of the draft and we can see what he projected for Arizona.
With the Cardinals' three picks, he has them going with a defensive lineman, an offensive lineman and a cornerback.
His picks for the Cardinals:
Grant is projected anywhere from the middle of the first round to the middle of the second. He is massive and would be an immediate upgrade for the Cardinals' run defense. But picking him 16th overall means you are banking on him being an impact pass rusher as well. Many believe he can be. If he can develop into someone like Vita Vea, that is ideal. Pass-rushing defensive linemen are premium players, so if the Cardinals agree that is what Grant can be, he is worth the pick.
Jackson is a no-brainer if he is there and the Cardinals have not taken an offensive lineman in the first round. He was a great guard to begin with for the Buckeyes and showed he can play tackle as well. Plus, it would reunite him with Cardinals offensive line coach Justin Frye, who was the Ohio State O-line coach the last two seasons.
Bryant would be the fourth top-90 cornerback the Cardinals have drafted in three years. He has length but not elite speed. It is true, though, that a team can never have too many players who can cover. However, to come away from the first two days in the draft and not add a pass rusher from the edge would seem a little disappointing.
