AXTON, Va. (WFXR) — The Nelson County Governors say undefeated on the season shutting out Glenvar, 3-0 Thursday night in the Region 2C girls final at the Smith River Sports Complex. The Governors will host Gate City next Tuesday in the Class 2 quarterfinals while the Highlanders will play at Central Wise in the Class 2 quarters next Tuesday.
