The Huskers continue to push strongly for 2027 four-star quarterback Trae Taylor. He talked with Rivals.com’s Greg Smith about the program.
Taylor has been connected to the Huskers throughout the recruiting process. They have made his top five, and he has repeatedly said positive things about the program over the past couple of months. He was most recently in Lincoln for a visit this past weekend.
The Huskers are still very much in the mix for Taylor and have begun pursuing other quarterbacks. Over the weekend, they also extended an offer to 2027 signal-caller Keegan Croucher.
Even still, Taylor loves what the program brings to the table and particularly likes how he fits in the offense (subscription needed)
“Their offense fits me perfectly actually. Love that they go under center some as well. It’s definitely a pro-style offense that I’m looking for.”
It will be interesting to see how Nebraska manages the 2027 quarterback class. Taylor is clearly viewed as a priority for the program, and he could thrive under the new-look Huskers offense.
