A Nebraska guard has been named to a midseason award watchlist. Britt Prince is a candidate for the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award.
The sophomore leads Nebraska with 18.1 points and 4.4 assists per game this season. She is shooting 56.4% from the field, including 50% from 3-point range.
Prince is the Big Ten's best free-throw shooter (.930) and has hit a school record 48 consecutive free throws. She is also a perfect 46-for-46 in Big Ten play this season.
