Nebraska baseball freshman Drew Greco won several accolades on Tuesday, as he was honored by the Big Ten. Greco won Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors, as well as being named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and the All-Big Ten Second-Team.

Greco had a fantastic season for the Huskers this year. He hit. 348 with seven home runs, 44 RBIs, and a .576 slugging percentage.

The Nebraska native put together a strong debut season and was a key catalyst for a Huskers team looking to make noise in the postseason.

It will certainly be interesting to see what he does not only next season but also in the tournament. Either way, he proved himself a building block for the program's future.

Year one and stacking honors.
