Former Nebraska basketball power forward Josiah Allick won the NBA G League Championship with the Greensboro Swarm, the G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, who swept the Stockton Kings in straight games.
Allick was a key player for the team, averaging 6.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks over 17.2 minutes per game in 28 games for the Swarm. The Lincoln native was a key player for the Huskers during his final collegiate season.
He transferred to Nebraska from New Mexico State for the 2023-24 season and immediately became an impact player. He averaged 7.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, and helped the program reach the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Following his collegiate career, he played in the New Zealand basketball league in 2025. He was named the NZMBL Most Valuable Player after leading the league in rebounding with 11.3 per game. He was named to the All-Star Five and Most Outstanding Forward.
