The SEC Tournament has concluded, with Texas A&M and Oklahoma softball sharing the title of champion after bad weather led to a canceled championship game.
The Aggies smoked the Texas Longhorns in the semifinals 14-2, run ruling them in one of their worst losses of the season. Oklahoma, meanwhile, toppled Arkansas 8-6 to reach the final.
Now, the NCAA Tournament selection committee will decide where each team will be placed in the bracket. A&M was seeded No. 1 in the SEC Tournament but never played No. 2 Oklahoma, the four-time defending champs, in the regular season. The Longhorns faced the Sooners in two of those title series, but failed to earn a single win in either of them.

Texas is seeking redemption after falling just short in 2024. Oklahoma is on the cusp of a fifth straight title, having made history with its fourth title last season. And while A&M hasn't won a championship since 1987, the Aggies might finally break that drought this year.
