Bech had a 3rd/4th round grade a few weeks ago. I said that we should get him early on. He is a gamer as well. Maybe not as good as Mendoza but Beck really had to work hard to come back from his season ending injury last year.

Dude Beck is horrible lol

Could the team we put out there in week 17 beat Indiana? I kind of doubt it.
Please. In that Natty game there were only about 8 or 10 guys that will ever start an nfl game...maybe 4 that become legit nfl starters.
Most of those guys wouldn't make a practice squad.

I really hope you weren't being serious

I mean it’s not just the players it’s the coaching too.

But if you guys say so.

well sure the coaching matters. Thats why so many college coaches send players to the league fully game ready...oh, wait....

seriously dude.
Your basically trying to compare a dirt track car to a formula 1 car...having a great driver makes a difference...sure...
But when you put Bubba on the track with Mario Andretti he isnt going home with anything other than PTSD....because even the very best dirt track car of all time, combined with the best dirt track driver of all time...is just out of his league when faced with an F1 car....even if my old fat ass was the driver.

some of you college football fans are just ridiculous in your fantasy world thinking.
Take the winner of the FBS Natty...every year..and play them against the team with the #1 pick in the NFL draft.... 99.5% of the time the college team is going to be horribly embarrassed...I can nearly guarantee you it would only take a few of those games before college coaches started refusing to allow their teams to play it. Because the outcome would destroy their players confidence too badly to recover.

I think 99.5% is overstating it, but I see your point.

Miami's RT Francis Mauigoa was outstanding. He didn't allow any sacks and was a key blocker for the successful run game. We would have bookend tackles with him and Paris. He is the best OT in the draft.

Indiana going undefeated & winning a ship is sign we living in alternate reality. Crazy times!!!
It shows money buys championships like it always has in college.
Cubans giving them millions and other alumni are following suit.

Carson Beck just isnt good

there is a reason he hung around college football for six seasons -- the last three years the NFL told him UDFA

I swear this is such sour grapes. LSU and Alabama don’t have rich boosters?

If anything, Purdue has wealthier boosters and a literal pharmaceutical company; you wonder what the heck they’re doing.

It’s not like Cignetti was going out and buying the best of the best. He was getting guys who worked in his system that weren’t necessarily well-regarded and coaching them up. Mendoza was a two-star recruit.
