National reactions: Jets select CB Azareye'h Thomas in Round 3 of draft

The New York Jets selected cornerback Azareye'h Thomas with the 73rd pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Thomas, a 20-year-old junior from Florida State, joins a Jets secondary where he will have to earn his way onto the field behind star cornerback Sauce Gardner and the newly-signed Brandon Stephens.

Thomas was an honorable mention All-ACC in 2024, starting in all 12 games and recording 52 tackles, 2 TFLs, an INT, and 4 PBUs.

Honorable Mention All-ACC. Started all 12 games (52 tackles, 2 TFLs, INT, 4 PBUs). He received a 76.5 defense grade from Pro Football Focus while only allowing 141 yards and zero touchdowns.
