Najee Harris may regret leaving Pittsburgh and may have to walk back his criticism of the Steelers' offense — as the Chargers just drafted his eventual replacement before he even played a snap for Los Angeles.
Every player is entitled to air their grievances, especially with Harris’ realistic issues regarding the Steelers' training facility and overall offensive approach — but he maybe should’ve waited until after the 2025 NFL Draft, because the Chargers’ first-round selection of Omarion Hampton may have him once again looking for the door.
Los Angeles practically Kirk Cousin’d Harris, who signed a one-year, $5.25 million contract with the Chargers this offseason over a return to the Steelers — who also seemed equally willing to move on in 2025.
Hampton could function as a one-two punch with Harris, but it's more likely that he’ll eventually push the former Steelers RB down the Chargers' depth chart.
Did Harris deserve better from the Chargers, or was his former head coach Mike Tomlin right once again — the NFL isn’t about loyalty, it’s simply a business?
