I know several of these players will not go anywhere near where I’ve projected them to go. I did this a month ago and no one agrees on anyone. For example my top 2 guys in round 2 likely go in round 1. The Cards have stacked up extensive OL depth, but I still expect the Cards to take a shot at RT and possibly C. I think only 3 possibilities remain for round 1 (pick 3), trade down, Bailey or Mauigoa. Assuming they don’t trade down, I’d take Bailey. I don’t like a RT that early and I think the pool at T is better than at Edge. Most analysts say take the RT. I believe it’s possible the Cards signed Wilkinson thinking they might take a developmental RT, like Lomu or Freeling. I think later they look for depth at DL, LB, S & maybe a speed receiver.

As to my list the order below is how I rank them. If someone in the round 1 pool isn’t taken they’d go to the top of round 2, which is the process for following rounds. I think it unlikely they take 2 players at the same position. Once they take a RT, ignore other RT prospects, though they could take a RT, like Tiernan, intending to play him at RG. Round 7 would be anyone left of the players below. I know I used to only put 5 players in a round but this draft is weak and unpredictable. After the middle of round 2, everyone else is just a role player or major developmental project.

Great list. One nitpick, Omar Cooper Jr. is heavily mocked as a 1st round pick, I would be shocked if he was still available in the 3rd.

I expect a run on WRs sometime from mid-first to early second. He likely gets pulled up by that run. He’s talented, but this pool is the deepest in the draft.
