The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has released its full list of medical suspensions stemming from MVP MMA 1: “Rousey vs. Carano,” which took place this past weekend (Sat., May 16, 2026) inside Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.
And while several fighters received standard precautionary suspensions, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos drew the most concerning medical outcome of the night.
Following his brutal knockout loss to Robelis Despaigne on the Netflix main card (watch highlights), “Cigano” was handed an indefinite suspension pending neurological clearance.
Meanwhile, MMA legend Nate Diaz received a six-month suspension after reportedly suffering a broken finger during his bloody TKO loss to Mike Perry in the co-main event.
