Johnson is generously listed at 6-foot-2 and does not have the prototypical size that NFL Scouts covet. Johnson does have large hands, which helps him shed blocks, and he plays with good leverage. And his production during his first season in Boulder can't be overlooked. After transferring in from the Junior College ranks last spring, Johnson led the Pac-12 in sacks per game and his 17-and-a-half tackles for a loss was the most by a Buff in 25 seasons. Johnson still has two years of college eligibility remaining so he could potentially return to Boulder in 2020.
