This is silly.
The coaches are always trying to win games, that is their job.
If Kyler is ready to come back and you shut him down, you are telling all the players on the team the season is meaningless and that they are playing for a joke organization that wants to shut it down after 6 games out of 17.
Second, they cannot evaluate Kyler without playing him, and that will take at least 5 or 6 games, so I don't see how this is early.
Third you are assuming we will win games with him. If he needs to be replaced you shouldn't be to worried about that, because he is still the QB of a talent deprived team.
