Another Michigan State offensive lineman prospect in the 2026 class is off the board, and he's heading to a conference rival.

Roseby Lubintus of Sicklerville, N.J. announced his commitment to Penn State on Friday of last week. His commitment to the Nittany Lions came on the eve of the Blue and White Penn State spring game.

Lubintus chose Penn State over other leading candidates Michigan State and Syracuse. He recently took an official visit to Syracuse and is scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan State in June.

Lubintus is currently listed as a high-end three-star offensive tackle in the 2026 class. He holds a rating of 88 on 247Sports, and ranks as the No. 39 offensive tackle in 247Sports' rankings for the 2026 class.

Michigan State has now struck out on three of its top offensive line prospects in the past month. The rough stretch started with legacy in-state four-star prospect Gregory Patrick committing to Notre Dame in mid-April. That was then followed by four-star prospect Kelvin Obot leaving the Spartans off his top schools list shortly after taking an official visit to Michigan State.

The Spartans will now need to circle the wagons ahead of a huge few months of recruiting. May will be the beginning of official visit season, which will be a time where the Spartans must have success on the recruiting trail.
