Week 3 didn’t last long due to court conditions.

Tuesday, July 14th

Game 1 saw Team Tri-Star (Coen Carr, Jesse McCulloch) beat Team BLT (Kaleb Glenn, Matthew Watkins) 107-96.

Game 2 featured Team LAFCU (Jeremy Fears, Ethan Taylor) and Team Motorcars (Carlos Medlock, Anton Bonke), but the game was stopped early in the first half due to condensation build-up on the court from the severe heat outside. Both Game 2 and Game 3 were canceled for the safety of the players.

Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press shared this video of Carr slipping during Week 2 showing how the humidity was impacting the court even a week earlier.

Thursday, July 16th

The Pro-Am canceled its three scheduled games last night due to heat and humidity that made the court conditions unplayable at Holt High School.

The rest of the schedule has not changed and we’ll see how the court looks next week.
