Mohamed Kader Meïté highly sought after in Premier League
Mohamed Kader Meïté is attracting the attention of numerous European clubs. The 18-year-old Stade Rennais striker is being closely monitored by several Premier League sides, including Newcastle, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Brentford, and Brighton.
Crystal Palace, however, appears to be leading the race for his signature. The London club is reported to have already submitted an official bid to Rennes and currently stands out as the most serious contender. Al-Hilal has also shown interest, tabling an offer estimated at €40 million, but the player is keen to continue his development in Europe.
A French U21 international, Meïté has made 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. Under contract until June 2028, he is expected to prioritize a move next summer.
