MLB announced complete rosters for all 20 teams in the World Baseball Classic will be revealed Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Plenty of spots are still up for grabs, with most rosters still incomplete.
The tournament will take place from Mar. 5 to Mar. 17. Each team will play four games in the tournament during pool play, and the top two teams from each of the four pools will advance to single-elimination knockout rounds.
The last WBC came in 2023, with Team Japan taking a win over Team USA.

Which Dodgers Players Will Play in the World Baseball Classic?
Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto are returning for Team Japan as they look for their record fourth WBC title, as well as their second in a row.
Ohtani recorded the final out of the 2023 WBC and has won two MVPs since then, and Yamamoto is one of the best pitchers in baseball. With their inclusions, Japan is one of the clear favorites for the tournament.

Team USA also has plenty of talent, though, and a couple of Dodgers will feature for them as well. While Mookie Betts won’t be with the team as he has been in years past, Will Smith will represent the USA and Clayton Kershaw will be making his first WBC appearance after retiring from MLB in 2025.
Plenty of Dodgers players will feature in the World Baseball Classic, though a couple will be sitting out for the tournament. Roki Sasaki is missing the WBC due to his injury-plagued rookie season, Miguel Rojas had issues with his insurance which complicated his inclusion and Andy Pages will also be missing out to prepare for the upcoming season.
Even without some of the bigger names in Dodger baseball, fans will have plenty of reason to watch the WBC during March, and will hope to see their favorite players gear up for the 2026 season.
The Dodgers have the chance to make history in the upcoming regular season, as they’ve won consecutive championships and have never won three in a row in franchise history.
