The Winter Olympics have begun, and Minnesota is well-represented in Italy.
The 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Games are being held in Milan, Italy, with closing ceremonies, curling and men’s ice hockey finishing up Feb. 22.
The winter games include figure skating, Alpine skiing, ice hockey, snowboarding, speed skating and curling, and Minnesota has 24 athletes on Team USA, the second-highest number from any state. Colorado has the most with 29.
Here is a simple cheat sheet on how to watch, what to watch and when.
Buona fortuna, Team USA!
Milan is seven hours ahead of Central Time. Peacock TV will livestream every event all day long, while NBC will provide nightly recaps.
If you do want to watch live, events like curling, skiing, skating and snowboarding are usually streaming early morning with final heats and medal events streaming in the afternoon.

Curling continues every day, with medal rounds Feb. 20-22. Each match will be streamed on Peacock only.
Ice hockey will run daily, with medal rounds beginning Feb. 19.
Figure skating medal rounds continue Feb. 11, 13, 16 and 19.
From Feb. 9-13, medal rounds for skiing and speed skating will be in the mornings, snowboarding finals will be 8-11 a.m. CT and speed skating and short track will be 6:30-10:30 a.m., all on Peacock.
Don’t miss medal rounds for luge, biathlon and free figure skating.
Bobsleigh runs Feb. 12-22, and luge ends Feb. 12.
Semi-finals for speed skating will begin Feb. 16 (finals are Feb. 20), finals for curling start Feb. 10, and ski jumping and freestyle skiing on Feb. 14. Ski jumping ends Feb. 16, and skiing ends Feb. 21.
Remember, there will be recaps of all this every night on NBC.
