After another weekend of games we are down from four Gophers left to three as Jack Gibbens’ Patriots took out Aireontae Ersery’s Texans. The pair of ex-Gophers on Seattle moved on after a wipeout of San Francisco as well. Thus after this weekend we will know if Minnesota has 0, 1, 2, or 3 former players facing off for a Super Bowl in Santa Clara. Here is a recap of last week’s action and a look ahead to Sunday’s games.

Houston Texans

Divisional Playoffs @ New England Patriots Sunday 2PM

Aireontae Ersery— LT

Ersery played all 75 offensive snaps and 4 more on special teams in the loss to New England. He was given a decent grade from PFF, but it was not good enough.

New England Patriots

Divisional Playoffs vs Houston Texans—Sunday 2 PM

AFC Championship Game @ Denver Broncos 2PM

Jack Gibbens LB

Gibbons played 18 defensive snaps and 22 more on special teams in the win over the Texans. Gibbens ended with a pair of tackles, one of which was solo.

Seattle Seahawks

Divisional Playoffs vs San Francisco 49ers—Saturday 7 PM

NFC Championship Game vs Los Angeles Rams 5:30 PM

Seattle enjoyed the opening round bye as the NFC’s #1 seed.

Boye Mafe OLB

Mafe played 27 defensive snaps and another two on special teams in the win. He made three tackles, one of them solo.

Nick Kallerup TE

Kallerup played six offensive snaps and one on special teams in the win. He did not record a stat.

This Weekend’s Schedule:

AFC Championship Game:

New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos 2 PM Sunday CBS

Jack Gibbens will see if he and the Patriots can get past Denver and get to the Super Bowl for the first time in the post-Brady era. With a backup QB in for the Broncos, their chances look pretty dang good.

NFC Championship Game

Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks 5:30 PM Sunday Fox

Boye Mafe, Nick Kallerup and the Seahawks look to try and get to the Super Bowl with a home game against their divisional rivals in the LA Rams. The teams split their regular season games with each team winning at home. What will happen Sunday night?
