The New York Jets have many needs entering the offseason, and they addressed one of them right before the start of free agency.
The Jets are making a deal with the division-rival Miami Dolphins to land veteran safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to help fix the secondary. Fitzpatrick had a down year in 2025, but is still a five-time Pro Bowler who also made three first-team All-Pro appearances in his career.
Fitzpatrick reunites with Jets defensive coordinator Brian Duker, who was the secondary coach and pass game coordinator for the Dolphins in 2025. Here's a look at the full deal between the Jets and Dolphins.
