The Milwaukee Bucks are shaping up for a highly active offseason, particularly if they decide to move Giannis Antetokounmpo. The situation increasingly feels like a question of timing rather than possibility, and if Milwaukee ultimately moves on from its franchise cornerstone, a full reset would likely follow.
In that scenario, Antetokounmpo may not be the only major name on the trade block as the Bucks could explore a broader roster overhaul.
Myles Turner fits that mold as he heads into the second year of the four-year, $108.9 million deal he signed last summer.
Now 30 years old, Turner could become a logical trade candidate if the Milwaukee Bucks shift toward a reset, and he may be better positioned contributing to a contender rather than spending prime years on a rebuilding roster.
One team expected to explore upgrades at center this offseason is the Charlotte Hornets. Moussa Diabate provided strong production last season with his energy and effort, but his skill set is more aligned with a reserve role rather than a full-time starting center.

Alex Golden of Sports Illustrated has proposed a trade idea between the Charlotte Hornets and the Milwaukee Bucks centered on Turner.
In the suggested framework, the Hornets would acquire Turner, while the Bucks would receive Tidjane Salaun, Grant Williams, and the 18th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
The Hornets have long been connected to Myles Turner, with interest dating back to his time with the Indiana Pacers. He would be an ideal fit at center for a starting group that already features LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel, Brandon Miller, and Miles Bridges.

“It helps the Hornets strengthen their young roster as they’re looking to win their first playoff series in franchise history, and it balances out their team by adding a stretch big opposite of Diabate, who is a great rim roller,” the NBA insider wrote in his article.
For Milwaukee, the package would start with a single first-round pick in this year’s draft. While it is not a major haul, it would at least give a rebuilding franchise a starting point for future moves. Grant Williams could later be moved again at the trade deadline due to his expiring contract, while Tidjane Salaun showed promising moments last season that suggest long-term upside.
